Objectif(s): To analyse wildlife management requirements and objectives of the CPS and other co-manangement boards operating in the North; to examine policies, legislation and operating mandates to determine the implications of co-management for CPS; to provide recommendations for CPS to assist the northern national parks service in implementing co-management of wildlife.
Description du projet: This project was identified by the CPS as essential to effective co-management of wildlife in northern national parks. A broader look at how each park implements co-management and how other agencies have been successful in co-managing wildlife is required to form a formulate a consistent approach across the northern national parks system.
