Objectif(s): To study Inuit geography, their geographical thoughts about the land, their perception of space and the way they organize their knowledge of the land into a general explanation of the world around them; to record Inuit categories of perceiving the land and their territories;

Description du projet: The Researcher will conduct a study to investigate Inuit geography, their geographical thoughts about the land and their perception of space and the way they organize their knowledge of the land into an general explanation of the world around them. A place name survey will be carried out with the elders of each community. Younger adults will be asked to give the names they know to understand how the knowledge is changing.
