Objectif(s): To measure stem diameter and height of individual trees in about 20 stands of pure jack pine representing ages between approximately five- and 60-years; to cut stems at ground level of about 15 small individual jack pines for estimating dry weights of various parts of the trees; to measure light conditions in various jack pine stands.

Description du projet: The Researcher will measure stem diameter and height of individual trees representing ages five to sixty years. Approximately 15 small individual jack pines will be cut to estimate dry weights and measurements of light conditions in various jack pine stands will be undertaken.
