Objectif(s): To continue work begun in 1988 by Paul Hebert (licence # 9087) to investigate the occurrance and implications of interspecific hybridization between arctic char and lake trout;

Description du projet: Fish will be caught using both gill nets and fishing tackle. The Researcher will use the same collecting and sampling procedures that were used last year at Sarcpa, Lailor and Hall lakes. A maximun of 25 fish per species will be killed to obtain liver, kidney and muscle tissue to enable analyses. The fish bodies will be given to the local communities as before.
