Objectif(s): To obtain information on breeding populations of shorebirds and other avifauna on the islands of the Foxe Basin ; to develop methods for determining the distribution of wildlife habitats through the use of remote sensing technology.

Description du projet: Dr. Morrison and his research team will gather information on the species of birds breeding on the islands of the Foxe Basin, which habitats they use and how their numbers vary from year to year. A map of the main wildlife habitats on the islands will also be made using satellite images.
