Objectif(s): To provide a preliminary evaluation of theoretical and practical problems; to establish directions for future research; to train local researchers to carry out future studies; to communicate results in the form of publications, radio shows, conferences and workshops in North Slavey and English;

Description du projet: The information gathered will be used to establish a system of wildlife management and land use planning in Denendeh that combines both western scientific and traditional approaches to environmental management. Information will also be used for curriculum development in the sciences and social studies programmes.
