Objectif(s): to complete a radio communications study to determine the effect of the auroral zone on the behavior of very low frequency (VLF) radio signals, to further knowledge conderning the receiving of VLF radio waves over long-distance high latitude paths by recording data on the intensities of such signals broadcast by specific VLF stations located in the U.S.A., Puerto Rico and England.

Description du projet: An antenna and a computer operated VLF ( very low frequency) signal receiving and recording equipment will be set up in the AES in Fort Smith, this is a 2 year study and training is provided to AES personnel to collect data.
