Résumé: This research is part of a Canadian-Russian collaborative, interdisciplinary project aimed at the history of treeline fluctuations in circumboreal regions. We will also investigate the feasibility of using peat as a temporal record of pesticide residues. It will also investigate methods utilized in temperate peat studies and the applicability of these methods in northern Canada....
